Kimberley was born in New Jersey but has called Athens her home since an early age and considers herself a true Athenian. She attended schools in Clarke County and went on to graduate from the University of Georgia with a Bachelor of Science. Soon after she married her college sweetheart, Michael, they relocated to Charleston, SC and then to Marietta, GA as he pursued his degree at Southern Polytechnic State University. While raising their daughters, Kimberley looked for a profession that would allow her the flexibility she wanted for her family, but that would utilize the relationships she had developed over the years volunteering and serving her community. Real estate became the obvious choice. Graduating from Barney Fletcher School of Real Estate in 2003, Kimberley started working with a small brokerage firm managing their portfolio of properties. In her 11 years there, Kimberley went on to obtain her Associate Brokers License, gained a wealth of property management knowledge, as well as valuable experience representing both buyers and sellers. In 2014, opportunities arose for Michael in Athens and Kimberley and her family found themselves back “home”. Wanting to learn more about the Athens market before jumping back into real estate sales, Kimberley accepted a “Transaction Coordinator” position with The Georgia Club Real Estate Company, Inc. After spending two years learning the business from the inside out, she made the move to Associate Broker. Kimberley’s love of the community and diligence, combined with her genuine personality and natural optimism make her a welcome addition to The Georgia Club Real Estate Company sales team.
