My wife and I had an excellent experience working with Kim as a Buyer's Agent. This was my first home buying experience and Kim was very patient and knowledgable. We came into town and had a plan to see a lot of homes in just a weekend and it worked out perfectly. She has a great feel for the local neighborhoods and the ins and outs of each. Unfortunately, our first offer fell through at the last possible second and we were left without any option for a pending move to town. Kim was great and when I found a new option, she did an entire walk through of the home on a video chat and was very thorough. Kim gives her brutally honest opinion and we loved that. Ms. Petitt was very helpful selling two houses for me. One house was in Fayetteville, NC (while I was living in Clarksville, TN) which she was able to get a relator from the same form to assist me in the selling my house. Sold very quickly. Very knowledgeable on rules and regulations.
The other house was (in Clarksville, TN) in dire need of repair (while I was working out of state in AL), she told me all my options to repair (what she thought it would bring the house back to a good condition), rent (rent prices in my housing track), or sell (what she thought would be a fair price knowing what it would take to fix it up). Ms. Kim was an awesome realtor. When she first reached out to me, she was very enthusiastic and seemed happy to get me started in my home search. She deals with first-time home-buyers, which I am, so that was a relief for me. After that first encounter over the phone, I turned down other realtors who reached out because I knew I already found the one. During the home search, Ms. Kim was very honest to me about the location of the homes we looked at, as well as little details found in and around the home that I should consider. I felt that Ms. Kim never led me in the wrong direction. She would tell me upfront what she thought and I'd take it with a grain of salt. She was enthusiastic with her work not only during our first conversation but throughout my entire house searching adventure. If there was one thing I wish Ms. Kim did have, it would be to have a realtor license for the Kentucky side as well. That would surely broaden the options. If someone wanted to look on the KY side as well, they'd have to find a realtor who works on that side, and it would be a hassle to deal with two different realtors. Overall though, Ms. Kim will give you good advice, is very knowledgeable about homes and why they're in the state they're in (in terms of upkeep), and will not lead you astray. She listens, is understanding, and is very flexible in working around your own everyday schedule. A+++ for Ms. Kim.
