A little bit about my background: Raised on a farm near Gothenburg, I was raised with a work ethic that is second to none! Later I attended the University of Nebraska and earned a BS in elementary education and, seeking a new challenge, returned to school to earn a BS in secondary education from Chadron State College. I turned my love of learning into a career teaching Family and Consumer Sciences at North Star High School.

My hobbies include gardening, landscaping, and walking with my miniature dachshund, Oscar. My husband, Robb, and I are active in our church, enjoy Husker volleyball, and love finding new restaurants. We are learning about empty-nest living with our two children off at college.
