Kishia is amazing! She helped us find a place to move up to the city all the way from Alabama. She set up an entire weekend worth of apartment visits in a few neighborhoods to make sure we had plenty of options to find the right one, and the apartment we ended up choosing was one she found for us! Not to mention we were bringing two fifty pound dogs with us😅 so Kishia’s help was desperately needed, and she helped us perfectly! Thank you, Kishia!

Kishia is absolutely the best! She's helped me for decades - finding my first and second apartment when I first moved to New York, helping my colleagues who relocated to NYC find exactly what they were looking for without any of the typical NYC broker nonsense, finding my high net worth employer and her family an apartment in Gramercy Park, and ultimately finding my dream home (condo!) in Fort Greene, before it went on the market. All throughout the process she was professional and on top of everything, always looking out for her clients' best interests, and she's such a lovely person I'm lucky to call a friend. Recently I got a thank you phone call from Kishia, who had just closed on an apartment for a friend I had referred to her. While I was most appreciative of her thoughtfulness, it was an easy referral to make after my own experience with her as the realtor for an apartment my husband and I bought for our son, a couple of years ago. Kishia really went the extra mile to insure that our sale went through. When the building's board had questions, she had answers. She went as far as writing a very well researched and convincing letter in favor of my son, and the type of contribution he would make to the building. He was young, a student and far from a prime candidate, at least not on paper. She insisted that the building at least grant him an interview, which they did, and now a mere 2 years later, he sits on the building's board. I remain forever grateful to Kishia and will continue to reach out to her when needing a realtor for family or friend.

7+ years of a beautiful, collaborative partnership involving 3 Brooklyn homes: a grand Victorian in Midwood, a 4-bedroom townhouse in East Flatbush and a 2-bedroom condo in Mill Creek/Canarsie.
Never had a worry when these properties were left in the capable and knowledgeable hands of Kishia and her team. From decluttering and staging challenging spaces, to hosting an open house on short notice, to transitioning to a furnished rental in-between moves.
First met Kishia when the original agent for our $2 million Victorian was unexpectedly hospitalized, Ms. Marte graciously stepped in to collaborate with that agent’s team to successfully continue the sale of that century-old, landmark structure.
News from Kishia was always hopeful and her expertise on comps of nearby properties always ensured fair market value. I always recommend Kishia to anyone in the market for a new home.

Kishia helped my husband and me buy our home in Brooklyn. As first time home buyers, the real estate landscape of New York City can be pretty intimidating, luckily we had Kishia to guide and advocate for us. She was patient and professional during all our viewings. Her calm and cool vibe was a breath of fresh air among pushy brokers, sellers and co-op boards. We never felt her pressure or coerce us in any way. She was always candid about the facets of the co-ops we viewed which instilled us with confidence when we decided to put in an offer.

I worked with Kishia to purchase my first property: a multi-family brownstone in Brooklyn. The thing that stuck out to me about Kishia is the level of trust that she built. She truly represented my interests and wanted what was best for me. The home buying process is stressful and full of paperwork and Kishia was very proactive in making sure that things moved along. She helped to take things off my plate, where possible.

I've also used Kishia to lease my property to tenants and she took care of everything from listing, showings, tenant vetting, lease signing and key exchange. The consistent theme is that Kishia made my life easier.

Kisha has been my go-to for real estate brokering for the past 12 years. She helped me get my first and second apartment, as well as to sell my first coop and then buy my first condo. Kisha is extremely professional, knowledgeable, and well-connected. She is also part therapist, as she helped me especially deal with the pragmatic anxieties of trying to sell an HDFC coop while hoping to close a purchase of the condo. All of her referrals to support these processes have been stellar (*especially* the real estate attorney), and she never made me feel stupid with the many many questions I asked her. If you want a real estate broker who will be 100% in your corner, then Kisha is that broker. I can’t recommend her highly enough.

This was my first real estate purchase--a one bed in brooklyn--and I'm so happy that I chose to work with Kishia. Her calm, thoughtful, gracious presence on almost all of my apt visits was a huge help to me. She asked all the questions that I, as a first time buyer, would never even have thought of. We had a thorough debrief after each one. She could sense when I was talking myself into something that I wasn't overwhelmingly happy with, and would alway caution me that I will "know it when I see it," that I would get a certain feeling. I began to think that in my relatively tight budget, I would never find anything even close to rivaling my current rental in terms of beauty and light. But she was right. After looking at about 30 apts in a short period of time (during the peak of covid) we saw a co-op sponsor unit that not only ticked all my boxes for the apt itself, it was also in the exact location that I had hoped for. We went into contract very quickly and though the process was arduous with my getting the loan due to my being a freelancer and the amount of sponsor units in the co-op, she never waivered in her confidence that I would prevail. Which I did this week!
The process with the sponsor was also challenging and she always held my ground with them. Extremely responsive to all my texts and calls throughout our 4-5 month process, kind and wise, you will be incredibly grateful if you choose to go with Kishia. Bonus points: I'm an avid cyclist and with covid raging, I didnt want to take the subway nor did i want her to. At my prompting, she got her brother's road bike and together we cycled to all our appointments! Making it  super fun--I always looked forward to my apt search with Kishia. So highly recommend her!
