Kitty Hughes

Kitty Hughes earned her Bachelor’s degree from Stanford University in 1962, and soon after moved to Seattle, WA. She joined John L. Scott Real Estate in 1978 and became a partner-owner and broker with Madison House Ltd. Real Estate in 1983. At Madison House, she functioned as the Designated Broker / Owner for over 30 years. She has overseen several thousand transactions with an average price of close to $1,000,000 or more. She has extensive experience listing and selling high-end real estate in the Madison Park, Broadmoor, Washington Park and greater Seattle neighborhoods.

Kitty has been highly active in the community, serving as a member of the Boards of Seattle Opera, Seattle Opera Guild, Junior League of Seattle, and the Pacific Northwest Ballet. She has two sons—Al, Jr. and John—and a daughter-in-law, Maria, as well as three beautiful grandchildren. She enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling and reading.
