Kitty Warsame

Dr. Kitty Warsame is an experienced academic professional with over 20 years of teaching practice. Her early passion for education naturally transitioned toward life long dedication to the field. Dr. Warsame has, over the course of her professional career, served in almost every academic capacity. Beginning her career in Greater Houston over 20 years ago teaching English to political refugees, her career has included teaching elementary, High school, college and the university levels. Dr. Warsame received her Ed.D in Teacher leadership in 2010, and has since gone on to share her learning with future teachers at Morehead State University and Prairie View A&M University. Dr. Warsame is presently working at the University of Houston Victoria/Katy. Kitty’s Learning Center is a personal vision that Dr. Warsame hope will allow her to share her experiences with even larger groups of individuals in the future.
