Kristine Bareis

Originally from Wisconsin, Kris Bareis graduated from the University of Wisconsin with a degree in education. Seeking to leave behind the Midwest's frigid winter temperatures and snowfalls, she moved to Marco Island in 1977 and began living her dream life in Florida. After falling in love with the unique beauty of Marco Island, she began her real estate careers the following year with the goal to introduce others to all that the community has to offer. More than four decades later, Kris still call Marco home and has helped thousands of customers find their own piece of paradise on the island.

Kris, a broker associate, has a long history with the sales, design, development, and marketing of Cape Marco as she was involved from inception and first shovel of dirt to the completion of the exclusive gated community's six properties. She served as the director of sales at Cape Marco from 1991 to 2001. Her extensive knowledge and unique understanding of the community as real estate professionals as well as Cape Marco residents has proven to be highly effective in marketing the island's exclusive beachfront community.

In 2001, Kris established her own brokerage with her husband, Jeff, focusing on Cape Marco resales while providing a very personalized and service-oriented approach to their buyers and sellers. Kris and Jeff's agency was highly successful and produced a major market share of all sales within Cape Marco. In their new partnership with Premier Sotheby's International Realty, Kris and Jeff provide an elevated experience for their valued customers by drawing upon the legendary company's powerful global network.

Kris and Jeff are members of the Marco Island Area Association of REALTORS® and the Naples Area Board of REALTORS®.
