Kristine Kappel Realtor Kristine has been one of the best (top 2 in my experience) realtor i have worked with so far. Kristine is one of the best communicators and negotiators. She knows the San Diego market very well and she armed me with information that helped me make a informed decision. She was very thorough in all aspects including timely follow ups to ensure a smooth transaction end to end.

Most importantly for me, Kristine actually did thorough background research and analysis on properties that i would expect my agent to do and came back with right simplified summary for me to quickly review and ask deeper questions if i wanted to get more information.

Kristine differentiated herself from the average realtor by truly representing me which means reading all documents and advising me (NOT just opening doors for viewing which anyone can do) on what my options are and what her recommendation was. She let me make informed decisions as opposed to me having to read documents and find out for myself.

Kristine was always available in moments notice. I highly recommend Kristine to anyone looking to buy or sell a home in San Diego.

If we could give more than five stars, we would! Kristine from Kappel Realty Group | Compass San Diego, came to us as a referral and we are so grateful she did. Kristine was right behind us for any questions and additional support we needed. Being first time and first generational home buyers, we had a lot of questions in which she always had the answers. She provided kind guidance and was an excellent advocate for our growing family of three. Kristine has great attention to detail and stellar communication skills. From the moment I met Kristine, I knew that she would be the perfect realtor for me. As a first-time homebuyer, I had all kinds of fears. On top of that - I was buying a home that my parents would be living in with me as I become their caregiver. Knowing that my situation was unique, it felt like Kristine was constantly going above and beyond for me. Answering every question, text, email (in lightening speed) and making me feel beyond comfortable with the decisions I was making - these are just some of the reasons why my experience was as good as it was. The amount of detail that Kristine provided throughout every step of this home-buying journey was like nothing I could have imagined. She cares so much and wants you to find the exact home that is right for you. On top of that - her team was the best. Ridiculous attention to detail and I found myself constantly referring back to my checklists that they provided. We purchased our first home with Kristine and she was the best! We had many limitations with where we were looking to buy and our budget. She was able to find us an off market deal within our budget in a very limited housing market. She found the home we never thought we could get with the market’s competition. She’s always available if you need to discuss something. As first time homebuyers, she was more than a realtor, she was our therapist too! She’s with you every step of the way and is really your advocate. We highly recommend Kristine!

Kristine made our first time purchasing a home feel very smooth and easy, but we know she did a lot of work behind the scenes. Kristine made sure to explain every step of the way and answered all the questions we had. Kristine was right by our side and had our backs even when there were some hiccups along the way due to the seller’s agent being difficult. Kristine’s interpersonal skills and professionalism really works in her favor because she got us exactly what we wanted and did so very tactfully.

Kristine did an absolute marvelous job at ensuring that we found everything we were searching for. We were looking for a place that can be our perfect first home after coming back to the United States from being overseas. Kristine has shown us nothing but endless support and resources to finding the right home for us. From doing zoom calls on different time zones to constant emails and text messages making sure that the process was going as smoothly as it did. Kristine was amazing! I would recommend her to anyone that is even thinking about purchasing their first home. It’s a scary thing to jump into but she walked me through every step of the home buying process in detail and worked day and night to get me into my first home. Kristine worked with me to put in extremely strong offers and even got us enough credits to where I closed on my home with barely any money down. I cannot possibly give Kristine Kappel enough praise. She consistently went above and beyond for us as she helped us navigate the scary process of buying our first home. She was prepared and ready for action every single step of the way. I know that she is THE reason our offer beat 11 others over asking price on our home! On top of all that she is a sweetheart with a fantastic sense of humor and is an absolute pleasure to work with.

Her real estate knowledge extends far beyond the home buying process and she helped us understand the convoluted regulations regarding ADUs in San Diego County. In addition to being our agent, she was an excellent mentor with regards to the principles of real estate investing and the San Diego market.

Bottom line: I trust the guidance of the most competent and knowledgable people in a given field, especially when it comes to a large purchase/investment such as a house. Kristine single-handedly shepherded us through a 1031 exchange. She gave us every available opportunity to complete our exchange with our dream property by structuring our seller agreement to complete our down leg purchase in the given time. We never even made it to market because she found us a buyer with a great offer before we spent any money getting the property tuned up for sale. Kristine is personable, flexible, enthusiastic, knowledgeable… she embodies everything you want in a realtor! If you haven’t called her yet, do it now!!!
