Kris is AMAZING! I met Kris at an open house he was having. There were about 25 people in line as it opened, and as potential buyers were only allowed in the house one at a time due to COVID restrictions, I had to wait a while to get in. We got to chatting about Somerset and the crazy market. We talked about specific houses for sale and expectations for sale prices. He knows Somerset really well, and knew the areas where I was looking, the style of house. He gave me his card and said to get in touch if the open house didn’t work out for me – he might have something else opening up soon. I did contact him and he emailed back within hours and set up a phone call. The house he was working with wanted a bit more than I wanted to spend, so he did a letter drop to one of the neighborhoods I liked. One owner ended up calling him back. We negotiated with that seller for a LONG TIME, but Kris hung in there and was extremely diplomatic. He brokered a deal that worked for seller and us. I don’t think we would have found a house at all if he hadn’t put in the legwork; and then he worked above and beyond to make sure the deal didn’t fall through. He recommended contractors, supply stores, etc., which helped us feel much more comfortable with making some desired home improvements. I feel incredibly indebted to him! He sold our house after this purchase and managed that whole process while we were on vacation. I’m so happy that we were able to take a break from all the stress and trust him to manage the open house and showings that week while we were away. All we had to do was accept an offer. I am incredibly grateful for how much work Kris did for us – the market was hard, the seller was hard, and we had extremely narrow conditions for buying. Kris was super professional and caring throughout all of the ups and downs of buying and selling. I can't recommend him enough!
