Remark Realty was founded by Kurt Krohn in 2007. Kurt envisioned a dream to re-establish the professional image of the real estate broker from just a salesperson back to a true professional. Realizing that a family owned Real Estate Company was needed in the midst of the corporate franchise giants that would bring the buying and selling experience back to the personal level.

Kurt opened his first office during some of the worst economic years this country has ever seen with foreclosures sky-rocketing, and unemployment at an all time high. He knew the consumer would need a more professional, real estate broker representing them more than ever.

Some real estate franchises leave the responsibility up to the individual owners of the franchise office as to define the protocols, policies, practices and ethics of the office. Remark Realty is not a franchise; they operate as one company operating under strict code of ethics called their "core values".
