Kyle Lieberman

My name is Kyle Lieberman, and I have been a full time real estate professional since 2008. I was born and raised in Petoskey and knew from a young age I wanted to build my life in Northern Michigan. At the ripe age of 25 years old I jumped into the real estate industry head-first…roughly 60 days before the financial meltdown and housing crisis kicked off! It didn’t seem like it at the time, but starting my real estate journey at that particular juncture was a true blessing, as I learned how to survive and thrive in real estate under the most trying of circumstances. Through hard work, creative thinking, and a steadfast commitment to customer service, I have been fortunate to grow my business to among the most productive real estate agents in Northern Michigan year after year for well over the past decade. The greatest source of pride in my real estate career is the return business and generous referrals from clients I have worked with. Buyers and sellers I represent learn quickly that I value my reputation far more than my bottom line. I will always place a client’s interest ahead of my own. We are a small, close-knit community in Northern Michigan. Before real estate, I graduated from Alma College (2005) Magna Cum Laude with dual majors in Business Administration and Political Science. During my time at Alma, I was the four-year starting varsity goalkeeper for the men’s soccer team (Go Scots!) where I enjoyed a number of on field accolades. Off the field, I was recognized as a team captain, Verizon Academic All-District, and winner of the Harburn Scholar-Athlete award, given annually to the player on an Alma College varsity team with the highest GPA. My time at Alma also shaped a passion for coaching, which has led me to a long and successful career coaching youth travel soccer. In 2020, I helped found Petoskey Field House (www.petoskeyfieldhouse.com), an indoor turf training facility with a variety of other kid recreation activities. I then also helped co-found Northern Michigan Football Club (NMFC), a premier travel soccer club that has been recognized as one of the top player development programs in the State of Michigan. One of the greatest joys of my life is coaching my young children at NMFC and watching athletes from our small community show they can compete among the very best in the state and beyond.

My wife Beth is also a Northern Michigan native, having grown up in Boyne City. We have been together over 20 years and married since 2012. We live in Petoskey with our three children, Grace, Annabelle, and Hunter. I love helping people navigate the Northern Michigan real estate marketplace because I literally live and breathe this community every day. I understand what draws people to raise a family here as I’m doing it myself in real time. For sellers, I understand how to present the unique appeal to their Northern Michigan home that will bring the right buyer to the table. For me, selling Northern Michigan real estate is as simple as showing clients why I love living here so much.
