About Kym

In the wee hours of a cold, January day in 2011, Kym was at home staring at her computer, trying to find the motivation to make work travel arrangements to Chicago. After eight years of constant travel for her job, she had reached a point where she just wanted to be home. Locally, there were no job openings in her profession, so, what to do? She had watched plenty of HGTV (haha), so why not switch careers?

Kym made the transition with tenacity, read tons of books, attended every learning opportunity possible, has been mentored by local industry legends, earned several designations/certifications/awards, participated on Kanawha Valley Board of REALTORS® committees and BOD, served on WV Association of REALTORS® committees, and teaches a few real estate topics. She wishes she had jumped into this career a lot earlier in life!

Kym’s two grand-joys, her animals, traveling, and photography, are her passions in life. She volunteers for several organizations, the main one being The Fix 'Em Clinic (an area low cost, spay, neuter, wellness clinic).
