Born in San Jose, Costa Rica, Laila moved to the United States at the age of 3.5.
After 29 years as a business owner in New Jersey, she and her husband made their dream move to St. Augustine in 2016, with their two very loved Persian cats. When Laila is not working, she enjoys volunteering in her community, spending time with family and friends, antiquing, collecting gems and rocks, exploring boutiques, reading one of her many books, discovering new eateries, and taking long walks along Florida's beautiful beaches. With several designations and certifications, she is always eager to grow, passionately diving into continuous learning in the ever-evolving world of real estate.
