About Lamar

The only native Clarksvillian on the Clifts of Clarksville team, Lamar received his Bachelor of Engineering from Georgia Tech. After twenty years in the software industry in Atlanta, Lamar moved home to Clarksville to join his real estate family. In his first five years, Lamar closed over $e0 million in sales, and was awarded Keller Williams 'Rookie of the Year' award in 2008 based on annual production. Lamar is licensed in Tennessee and Kentucky, and also builds new homes and renovates older homes in Clarksville and the surrounding areas.

Lamar helped me purchase my first home, and I would recommend him to anyone looking to purchase a property in Clarksville. His knowledge of the area is almost unparalleled, and it made me feel much more comfortable as a first time home-buyer to have someone of his experience on my side. He never pressured me to look for houses outside of my price range, or at any particular listing. His helpful and friendly demeanor along with his strong negotiating skills made this process relatively painless for me. I will be recommending Lamar to my family, friends, and clients.

We have met Lamar at the beginning of the year through my in-laws whom have helped them out. Moving up to Clarksville from a different state, Lamar has helped us try and figure out what type of home would work best and the area. Lamar was very knowledgeable with the areas and when looking at some fixer uppers, he was resourceful with how to fix it. When it came to looking at homes, he never pushed any that were out of our price range. The closing/negotiating process was not very stressful, and he helped us along the way on what would be good. Overall Lamar is very honest, knowledgeable, resourceful, and will make sure that he keeps your interests in mind. We highly recommend anyone looking to sell/buy a home in the area to use Lamar as your agent!

We had the pleasure of working with Lamar Clift to search for our first home purchase. We were referred to Lamar by a friend who's parents sold their home through him and we thought why not contact him! We did and the first thing he said was, tell me about yourself and your family. Right there that put a smile on our face and we knew this would be the perfect realtor for us! It's hard to find people that actually have your best interest in mind these days when making a huge purchase and wanting to find a forever home. We had a few set backs in our military move so from that first conversation to the first time we met Lamar in person it had been a year but he didn't forget anything about us. We were in town for a short time to view 40+ homes and he gave us his undivided attention. We can't thank Lamar enough for listening to what we wanted in a home and being very honest about homes and areas we were looking in. Sometimes we would drive up to a home and he would say, we can go look, but I won't sell you this house due to this.... and gave us a very good reason why it would not be the home for us. We saw those 40+ homes in a day in a half and had an offer in on a home that second day! Once the offer was accepted, Lamar sent us to see our lending agent (he recommended her) who we absolutely loved working with as well. Once we started all the paperwork and were complete with that we headed back to our home out of state. Over the next few weeks Lamar kept us up to date on things that were happening in the home since it was new construction and not complete yet. He even walked through the home for us to make sure final things that needed to be done were complete. Once we signed our closing paperwork we were not able to move there for another week and he informed us that it had been very dry and didn't want our grass to die so he set up sprinklers for us until we got there! We could not have asked for a better home buying experience and have been beyond thrilled with the outcome. We plan for this to be an indefinite assignment in the military for us but if things change and we need to sell our home we know who we will call first!
