Lanae Powell

Lanae Powell started working in real estate in July 2003 as an office assistant. She quickly grew to love all things real estate and became a licensed Realtor in 2006. Lanae hit the ground running and is a consecutive multi-million dollar producer year after year. Lanae was awarded the 2007 Rookie of the Year by the McPherson Board of Realtors and the 2015 Realtor of the Year by Prairie Land Realtors (McPherson Council). Lanae is a member of Prairie Land Realtors, Mid-Kansas MLS, McPherson Chamber of Commerce, McPherson Main Street, Kansas Association of Realtors, and the National Association of Realtors. In 2009, she participated in the Leadership McPherson class and was the 2009 President for McPherson Main Street, serving on their board from 2008-2013. Lanae enjoys being active in the community and is currently serving as Promotions Chairperson for McPherson Main Street, Vice President of Meals on Wheels of McPherson, Inc. and Fundraising Co-Chair for BSA Troop 130. Lanae grew up in Canton and graduated from Canton-Galva High School. After graduating from Hutchinson Community College with an Associates Degree in Business Management, Lanae met and married her husband, Shannon. Currently, Lanae lives in McPherson with Shannon and their two boys, Gavin and Drew. She enjoys fishing, spending time outdoors, and being involved in her boys’ activities.
