Larry Barnebey

Larry has been a licensed Texas Realtor since 1964 and a Broker since 1974. In 1999, he bought Security Real Estate Inc which was established in 1967 and purchased the RE/MAX franchise in 2000. His company then became RE/MAX Security Real Estate in Rockport. In 2012 he co-founded For Sale Magazine, LLC as a direct marketing tool for area Realtors.

Attended The University of Texas majoring in Finance.

Larry has served 12 years as an Aransas County Commissioner; held the office of President of the Rockport Area Board of Realtors 3 times and Chaired the Professional Standards Committee for 10 years and was a previous President of the Rockport Center for the Arts and the Texas Maritime Museum and. He supports the Texas Maritime Museum in Rockport and the Aransas County Humane Society. Larry has a passion for politics and actively supports the Republican Party.

Larry fished commercially in 1978-79, has English Pointers and hunts quail. He likes ranching and entertaining his grandchildren.
