Larry Richards

Lawrence D. Richards is a Commercial Broker with Optimus CREI specializing in the sale and leasing of land, retail, restaurant and office property, tenant representation and Business Brokerage, primarily on Florida's Gulf Coast from Tampa to Naples. With over 30 years of Business Brokerage and Commercial real estate experience, Richards has been the "go to" Realtor in Multiple States including New Hampshire, Massachusetts and Florida.

Prior to moving, Richards served as associate broker and only Commercial specialist for RE/MAX Properties in Nashua, NH for 16 years. He successfully completed listing transactions in sales, leasing and site selection. He accomplished sales transactions as a buyer and tenant representative for land, retail and office properties as well as being an accomplished Business Broker.

Richards received the designation Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) from the Institute in 1995. Richards served as President of the New Hampshire Commercial Investment Board of Realtors (NHCIBOR) and was also awarded the Realtor of the Year by NHCIBOR.
Active in the commercial real estate industry, Richards is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), the Florida CCIM chapter, Realtor Association of Sarasota and Manatee (RASM), National Association of Realtors (NAR) and Florida Association of Realtors (FAR).

Richards earned a master’s degree in Business Administration from Rochester Institute of Technology in Rochester, NY. Richards also earned a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Grove City College in Grove City, PA.

In his spare time Richards enjoys socializing with friends and family, traveling with his wife Toni, various activities including golfing, boating and reading.
