Laura Ferencik

Laura was born and raised in Santa Clara, CA and lived throughout the Bay Area where she eventually met her husband and started her family in Santa Cruz, CA. After starting their family, Laura and her husband, Ed, eventually made the move from California to live in the Sierra Nevada Mountains and to experience all that the region has to offer. Laura spent her youth playing sports, from softball to basketball and everything in-between. She also spent every winter of her youth skiing in Lake Tahoe, especially at Ski Incline (Diamond Peak). Playing sports throughout her life gave Laura a sense of drive, commitment, and a strong work ethic. Her early adventures to Tahoe made the eventual move to Reno/Tahoe an easy transition. After moving to the Reno/Tahoe area in 2002, Laura immediately received her real estate license. Having spent time in California working in the banking and mortgage industry, she had an interest in, and knowledge of, real estate. After receiving her license, Laura accepted an opportunity to work for CTX Mortgage, where she spent two years processing loans for a top producing loan officer. Laura eventually made her way back to real estate where she has excelled for the last 12 years along with her longtime business partner, Patti Ireland. Having raised her three sons here, Laura has a love for the lifestyle and opportunities that living in Northern Nevada has to offer. Laura is passionate about helping people with their real estate needs, whatever they may be.
