Laura Hansen

Laura Hansen is born and raised in Portland, Oregon. She has two grown daughters and is a grandmother of two. The last 25 years she has been in transportation management. She previously worked for First Student as the Senior Manager for Portland Public Schools and suburbia area which totaled about 1100 vehicles and 1500 employees. Once she got promoted, she moved to Alaska for two years with oversight of the school buses and employees throughout the state. She then changed employers with a career advancement to Regional Vice President for MV Transportation in Northern California. After four years, she returned to Oregon and First Student as Area General Manager to live closer to family in Eugene area. After another two years, she left transportation all together for a career in real estate.
