Laura Shaffer

Meet Laura, a REALTOR®, and the “L” of E and L Team

Laura and her husband both grew up in Green Bay, Wisconsin. She moved to Colorado in 1996 to enjoy the sunshine and attend the University of Colorado Boulder, where she earned a degree in Chemical Engineering with an emphasis in Computer Science.

After graduating, Laura began her career at McKesson in 2000 as a hospital software programmer. Four years later, when her first of three children was born, she transitioned to her most rewarding role—being a stay-at-home mom for 12 years.

Having lived in Boulder, Superior, Erie, and now Louisville, Laura has proudly called Boulder County home for nearly three decades. Her lifelong interest in the local real estate market led her to join Elizabeth as an agent assistant and home stager, and later to become a broker and partner with the E and L Team at RE/MAX Elevate.

Outside of work, Laura enjoys volunteering at Louisville’s Friday Night Street Faires, cheering on the CU Buffaloes and Green Bay Packers with her husband, hiking with friends in the Boulder foothills, going to CU basketball games, watching movies with her three kids, and dreaming up her next trip to Costa Rica or Italy.
