Laura came to San Francisco in 1973, trading the natural beauty of Vermont for this wild, urban landscape—and fell in love with the City. She started selling real estate in 1983 after transitioning from a career in pediatric intensive care at the University of California, San Francisco. For the past 37 years she relies on those skills she learned in the ICU—diligence and meticulous attention to detail—to sell a wide variety of properties in both San Francisco and Marin, tracking the curious evolution of the counties’ diverse neighborhoods and market trends. She has received distinguished awards as a top producer, and garnered attention for her innovative advertising, such as with her marketing of 710 Ashbury, the old ‘Grateful Dead’ house, which was highlighted on the front page of the San Francisco Chronicle, and was also featured internationally on CNN, BBC, and in The London Times.
