Born and raised in London, England, Lawrence holds both an undergraduate Degree and an MBA from the University of Exeter. Lawrence has spent the last 21 years calling Chicago home, after extensive work experience as a fixed-income derivatives trader, first in London and Amsterdam, then on Wall Street, before finally settling at The Chicago Board of Trade, and starting his own Trading Company.
Lawrence placed his entire focus and commitment to real estate, after he began investing in multi-unit properties in 2009, and later became a full-time broker in 2014. He has sold a quarter of a billion in real estate investment properties and owns a vast and diversified portfolio of commercial and residential investment properties, which he adds to at every opportunity.
His dignified professionalism, deep knowledge base, and focus on relationship building have earned him the title of “Top 1%” Agent in Chicago, along with being the highest producer at his company, for eight consecutive years. He has appeared on numerous Podcasts, “Keeping it Real”, “AE Wheelhouse” and WGN Radio Show talking about various aspects of real estate investment strategies.
Lawrence specializes in finding the best turnkey and cash flow-positive buildings for his large network of buyers. “I simply love working with investors to create for them solid double-digit, property-backed investment returns from all types of multi-unit buildings,” he explains. “Once you understand the nuances of the business model, I truly know of no other vehicle to create such high investment yields. Outside of real estate, Lawrence remains an avid reader on his quest of constant self-improvement. Lawrence was a former professional MMA fighter and Chicago Golden Gloves boxing champion. Today, as a 2nd degree Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt, he enjoys training and teaching jiujitsu and recently completed his goal of running marathons on all 7 continents, including Antarctica!
