Julie and Lee Bernick are simply the best! Almost 6 years ago, the Bernick's helped us find our first home in South Minneapolis. They brought the perfect combination of humor and knowledge to the house searching process. This past year, when we were ready to move out to the suburbs, Julie and Lee were our first call! They supported us in finding our lot and throughout the entire build process. We faced many challenges with our builder and the Bernick's stood by our side listening, advocating, and supporting us the whole way through. Purchased and sold my home after 8 years of ownership. Lee and Julie are fantastic! Lee spent weeks pulling up different layout for us to tour, pinpointing things I preferred and which area worked best. Played a Huge part in the negotiations and were we would end up with an offer to buy.

When selling, they viewed the home, made a few modest suggestions ($100) to improve the showing. Has an excellent photographer who truly shows off the property thru pictures, which really impressed me. Then they returned with a booklet of comps and helped me understand where the market was and how they were going to get me $30,000 more than I thought. After 17 days (during Xmas and winter) I had an offer to accept at FULL asking price.

They are pure Professionals with no hype but down to earth people that you can trust. I have used them to buy, sell and buy my current home and looking forward to using them again if I need to sell again.

We came to Minneapolis from Milwaukee to look at houses and met Lee at his office. We had our toddler and infant sons with us. He then had us install the car seats into his car so he could drive us around. We spent 2 full days looking at countless houses. It was stressful having to take the boys along but being so far away from family, we didn’t have a choice. Lee was so kind and patient with us and our situation. Unfortunately we didn’t see anything we loved that didn’t already have an accepted offer. Lee was very honest and told us when he didn’t think a house was the right fit for us for various reasons. You could tell he actually cared and wasn’t just trying to get rid of us asap. He continued to show me more houses for a couple weeks. Finally we had an accepted offer. On move in day, Lee knew we had family in town helping us get moved into the house and he sent over plenty of pizzas to feed everyone. We are so appreciative of Lee for everything he has done for us.

Lee & Julie were GREAT to work with! From the very start, Lee made sure he knew what we were looking for in a home and general vicinity and he found the PERFECT home for us (after we had told him we wanted a condo and then decided that wasn't really what we wanted). Not only was it in our price range, but it had the 2-3 essentials we were looking for in a home!
Lee also was very astute at pointing out the little pluses & minuses of each place we looked at, without telling us that each one was "perfect" for us! We otherwise would have overlooked a lot of "little" details that we would have regretted later.
