Formerly the Director of Lee Arthur Studio, a Contemporary Art gallery in New York City's Soho area, founded in 1991, Lee holds a B.A. from Connecticut College. Extensively well-travelled, Lee's work as a contemporary art dealer led her from New York to Los Angeles, Hong Kong, Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, Delhi, Madras, Cairo, Rome, London, Paris, Madrid, and Caracas.
Lee is active in several charities where she serves on the board. She is past President and board member of her neighborhood Property Association. In addition, Lee was Vice President elect of the Malibu Association of Realtors in 2002 and served as a past Director from 1999-2001. She is a Certified Relocation Specialist and an Architectural Specialist. With great attention to detail in sales, marketing, negotiations, and client relations, Lee also serves as a mentor to several newer realtors. Married in '96 to Leo LaPlante, a Malibu resident since 1978, Lee and Leo are proud parents of twin daughters, born in 2002.
