Leif Jenssen

Leif is passionate about his job selling homes. He feels lucky every day that he works in such a dynamic area. He's a third generation East Bay native and he currently lives in North Berkeley. His wife, Desiree Alexander, owns Dish, a women's clothing boutique located in Hayes Valley in San Francisco. They have two boys: Xavier (14) and Hollis (10). Their family loves the diversity and community here in the East Bay. For fun he collects funky vinyl records, tries to keep up with the boys, travels and entertains. He has been a licensed agent at Red Oak Realty since 1994. Since 1998, he has sold over $150 million in sales volume and closed over 275 homes and income properties. This includes successfully working with over 170 buyers and 100 sellers. He is currently ranked 23 out over 2,000 agents in total sales volume, or the top 1% of all East Bay agents. Widely recognized by other agents and companies as a leader in the real estate industry, he has consistently been a top sales agent. Because of his commitment to giving good advice when helping people buy and sell houses, he has managed to stay successful during the many different changes in the market and he's remained an elite agent. Most of his business comes from referrals. He runs into past clients and friends all over the East Bay. Years of experience and a great understanding of the nuanced neighborhoods in the East Bay have given him the ability to relay information clearly and knowledgeably, but in a friendly and calm way. He realizes that buying and selling a home can be a stressful process. He takes time to explain the process and make it both fun and educational. He enjoys working with buyers and their families to find a house that is a perfect fit for them. Building a strong, diverse and vibrant community is what he is most passionate about.
