Leon Frati’s credentials began in Maine, where he spent his childhood perfecting the art of canoeing, hiking, and pretending that -10 degrees is actually quite refreshing while skiing. After earning a degree in Anthropology from Hartwick College, which included a transformative semester in Rwanda and Uganda, he traded the quiet upstate life for the pavement of New York City.
During his decade in Brooklyn, Leon lived a life that balanced fine arts with the unrelenting world of real estate. By night, he served as an art assistant, developing a perfectionist’s eye for detail (and likely sacrificing a few brain cells to paint fumes). By day, he worked as a real estate agent in one of the most competitive and complex markets in the world which provided him with a masterclass in negotiation, market analysis, and client advocacy.
In 2021, Leon decided it was finally time for a yard that didn’t involve a fire escape and bought a house in Durham. He quickly fell in love with the city’s magical mix of small town charm and big city amenities.
Whether you are hunting for a historic home with good bones or looking to sell your sleek townhome in this rapidly evolving market, Leon brings a curator’s eye and a New Yorker’s hustle to the table. He is here to help you navigate the Durham, Chapel Hill & Raleigh market with expert precision, low stress, and hopefully, a few laughs along the way.
