As a 10th-generation resident of western North Carolina, Leslie Young has a unique perspective and love for our beautiful mountain community. She understands that what makes this area so special are the people that form our community and their bond with the majestic mountains that she has been fortunate enough to call home most of her life.
After receiving her undergraduate degree in zoology from Northern Carolina State University, Leslie began teaching environmental education all over the country. Moving multiple times made her realize that there is no place like home. Leslie returned to western North Carolina and earned her master's degree in geography and land planning from Appalachian State University.
While working for a high-end developer in a community on beautiful Lake James, Leslie honed her keen eye for detail, broadened her knowledge of luxury real estate, and expanded her sense of customer service. As a broker with the Asheville office of Premier Sotheby's International Realty, Leslie combines these attributes with her 15 years of experience and extensive knowledge of the local real estate market. Her educational background in land planning, years of negotiating experience, and the value she places on exceeding her client's expectations will undoubtedly create a seamless real estate experience for her buyers and sellers alike.

Leslie's expertise extends to the construction industry as well, as she has designed, remodeled, and built multiple properties. Her family has been in commercial and residential construction for generations, and she frequently works with local builders and homebuyers as a design consultant during the construction process. She enjoys putting her knowledge and experience to use and creating more usable, functional, and beautiful spaces for her clients.
In her free time, you will undoubtedly find Leslie outside, enjoying the beautiful mountains she calls home. She enjoys hiking, biking, and paddleboarding, and is always looking for an outdoor adventure. If she is not in the office, she can usually be found exploring with her black Labrador retriever, Rodge.
