Lilea spent part of her childhood admiring the city of Chicago with its amazing combination of old and modern buildings until her parents decided to move the family to San Luis Potosi, Mexico, a city of colonial architectural buildings with more than 400 years of history. Little did she know that these environments would give her the ability to appreciate all types of real estate properties. Growing up in Mexico, Lilea embraced her roots, learned about her culture, customs, traditions, and lifestyles, which she had the opportunity to live.
It was not until a friend invited her to work in the real estate field that she discovered her passion for the profession. A few years later, she founded her own real estate firm in Mexico, along with the love of her life, whom she married and has four kids with. The firm provided opportunities for property management, working with investors, buyers, and sellers, as well as assisting corporations such as Valeo, Cummins, Continental, and Bosh in relocating their national and international employees. It was a successful company that operated for several years.
Later, as a family, they decided to embark on a new adventure and moved to Austin, TX, in 2011 to continue working in real estate. Lilea opened her own brokerage and has been working in the real estate industry in Mexico and the USA for over 16 years. She understands how the real estate process can seem "complicated" for many and knows firsthand how it works. With her background and dual culture, Lilea believes she has people skills. Drawing from her own experiences, she understands the feeling of starting an important project and not knowing whom to turn to for important decisions, such as the search for housing, choosing the right neighborhood, and all that it implies in settling into a new life. She also knows how to negotiate the best deal for real estate investments and how to achieve smooth and successful closings. Most importantly, she is willing to guide clients through the entire process and do all that it takes to get it done.
