Lilyan Dickerson

Lilyan Dickerson has lived in the Washington area practically her entire life and never tire of seeing the monuments as she approaches the city from Virginia which has been her home since 1975. She started her real estate career in new homes which gave her lots of training in all aspects of real estate, from the ground up. She has been working full time ever since and got her associate broker's license in 1988 and keeps learning something new with every transaction. Since she also has training in interior design she has naturally added pre-listing consulting as well as staging into her practice.

Her goal is to optimize the home's potential so that it will shine when it is presented as a new listing. This is an important part of the marketing strategy. With buyers, her training assists her in pointing out the possibilities of each home that interests them so that certain objections do not become over emphasized and outweigh the good points. Another of her goals is to facilitate the entire transaction for her clients so that we have a smooth settlement and happy homeowners. After all these many years of experience, she enjoys the challenges of house hunting and listing all kinds of property all over Northern Virginia but she really appreciate that she manages to get wonderful people to work with as clients. That is a key to her success.
