I cannot thank Linda enough for all the great work she did when we were buying our home.

From the start of our home search to the closing, Linda set up a portal for us and only put realistic, buy-worthy homes. Any home we wanted to see, she made happen for us. When we found the home we wanted, she put the offer in immediately and gave us great advice before going in. She worked diligently with the seller’s agent to get our offer accepted and communicated with us throughout the whole process. After our offer was accepted she made sure that our closing went as planned and on time. From offer to closing was five weeks!!!

I cannot recommend Linda enough for either seller or buyer. She made this whole process stress-free and we even gained a friend!

We recently rented a unit in New Haven through Linda Barrett, and she went above and beyond in ensuring that the process and our move was smooth and easy. She was very fast and clear with all communications. We were able to very quickly arrange a time to see the unit and she was very knowledgable about the property and the neighborhood. We never felt rushed throughout the process, and when we wanted to move forward with the apartment/signing/etc., she was very responsive in sending the appropriate paperwork and responding thoughtfully to our questions. A few weeks after we moved in, she reached out to check in and see how things were going and she even offered to help us in resolving a few new issues that had popped up. Linda is a "get it done" kind of person. She is reliable, prompt, kind, and knowledgable. I highly recommend you utilize her services!

Was moving to CT from out of state and was fortunate to find Linda out of all the online listings. After purchasing several homes over the years, we know the qualities of a great realtor. Linda was very quick to respond to our email inquiry and set up a conference call to LISTEN AND LEARN about us and what we were and were not looking for. She set us up for daily email listings and set aside 3 days for us to see homes when we flew here in winter. All this knowing we were scouting CT, unsure if we would make this our new home.

Linda TAUGHT us about the areas we visited, government snd tax structures and availability of shopping, etc. in the areas we searched. She also ADJUSTED and was FLEXIBLE as we made changes in our search.

She is FRIENDLY, EFFICIENT AND INFORMATIVE. We flew home having decided to move to CT. In this hot buyer's market, Linda navigated the multiple offer situations very COMPETENTLY AND PROFESSIONALLY.

We have had full TRUST in her to look out for our interests and with her DILIGENCE our bid was accepted for a beautiful home that is just right for us and has everything we wanted, close to nature and conveniences. Linda provided options for resources, and we had a fairly easy loan process and super closing with a wonderful attorney.

We deeply appreciate Linda's TEAMWORK, CARING AND CONSIDERATION. From the smallest things, like explaining what an oil tank was and the differences when homes have septic and well water, she was patient, kind and had a good sense of humor. My wife and I began working with Linda Barrett, of Seabury-Hill Realtors, at the beginning of 2021. We were buying a house in CT from a distance of a few hundred miles. Most of our communications were through Zoom or on the phone. From the start, Linda was great. She listened carefully to the kind of house we were looking for, our price range and neighborhoods in the New Haven/Hamden area we were particularly interested in. She responded very quickly to our questions over text or voicemail, and never rushed our phone conversations. When we visited CT, she carefully scheduled appointments to look at properties and always took the time to review with us what we had seen. We never felt any pressure from Linda. Once we purchased a home, she gave us suggestions for contractors to do work on the house before we moved into it, and she followed up with us on the progress being made. Linda was a wonderful help for us. My wife and I were moving from NYC to Connecticut and we were both working, extremely busy, in a pandemic, and it was very hard to do this search without Linda!
Linda would always do extra things for us, like go to see some properties she thought we would like to check them out for us.
Without Linda's help, we would have been very lost as first-time buyers moving from out-of-state. I am very thankful to Linda for helping us achieve our dreams of finally leaving NYC and now continuing our life; happy and content and surrounded by the beauty of Connecticut.

Linda Barrett was my agent when I was looking to buy a condo in New Haven while still physically situated overseas. She handled everything from soup to nuts and didn’t hesitate to go beyond the call of duty when necessary, such as buying a new refrigerator for the unit and getting it delivered before my arrival. In spite of all the complications that come along with an international transaction during a pandemic, and the frustrations and delays and the 7-hour time difference, she was always a consummate professional, always knew how to handle whatever strange circumstance arose, always knew the answers or how to find them, and never lost her patience or her good humor.
