In 2008, she morphed into a real estate broker after spending over 20 years as an intellectual property legal recruiter. She found many skills carried over to her new adventure- including providing truthful information to various parties to make educated decisions for their lives. Since buying and selling a home is a significant part of most people's financial decisions in their lives, she makes every effort to help clients better understand all their options and the potential consequences of each choice. She entered this field at the best time to learn about the more demanding requirements and processes for buying and selling in a challenging market. She has learned how to market homes more successfully and help buyers finance homes more economically with new programs. She has also developed techniques to help clients better negotiate prices for homes. Her first territory was Hyde Park and the larger radius around it on the South side of the city. She has now learned about the city's South Loop and Near North areas. She enjoys investigating new places and helping clients discover the best sites for their needs. Her children are now independently focused on their paths for life- one in international broadcast communications in the Middle East and one in the US Naval Academy. So she rarely sees either and enjoys filling her time with the needs of her clients! Her goal is to make every client feel like they are her only one!
