Local knowledge: Process expertise: Responsiveness: Negotiation skills: Selling a deceased parent's home in Ormond Beach proved very challenging for us - two adult children - one living in Ohio and one in Hawaii. When we decided to list the home initially, we interviewed Linda Sicotakis and another local realtor. Unfortunately, we chose the other realtor, based on a family connection, who had the house for a year and was unsuccessful in selling it. In fairness, the house was old and not updated with 40+ year old windows and a bad roof. But, when we reached out to Linda, she accepted the challenge and immediately crafted a strategy for our review. Once we agreed on it, Linda was masterful at implementing the plan. Within less than wo weeks she had a buyer. With each obstacle we faced - given the challenges with this older home - Linda came up with solutions to tackle the issue. At times Linda even worked directly with local resources and oversaw the work required given our distance. Within six weeks the home was sold and all details handled to our satisfaction.
