She is active in the community, helping with the St. Athanasius Parish Festival, Flea market, and other annual fundraising events over the past 20 years. Presently, she serves as Secretary/Treasurer for Swan Acres Inc., a small community nonprofit park in Ross Township. She has served on multiple boards for Ross Township, assisted with the Annual Independence Day Parade from 2000 to 2018 and in 2022. She volunteers for the Distinguished Doberman Rescue since 2009.
She graduated from Avonworth High School and has extensive knowledge of the entire North Hills region. A lifelong Pittsburgher, she lives in Ross Township with her 20-year-old son, her Mother, and 5 rescue dogs.
In her free time, she enjoys taking her blind Doberman, Livvy, to visit nursing homes around the area.
