Lisa Long

Prior to joining The Woodmont Company, Lisa was successful as the General Manager in revitalzing a Dallas icon; Southwest Center Mall formerly "Red Bird Mall". Upon arrival to the property, the facility was non-operational, non-compliant and less than 40% occupied. Lisa was able to bring the occupancy up to approximately 78% leased, establish a fully operational and compliant facility prior to her exit. She accomplished this feat in less than two years; D Magazine did an article on her undertaking. She not only organized the facility but simultaneously obtained the support of the diverse Oak Cliff community while working hand-in-hand with the Ownership, Community, Community Advocates and The City of Dallas to reach the present result. Lisa recieved a formal acknowledgement from Mayor Tom Leppert and the entire City Council for this accomplishment in 2010. Addionally Lisa was honored as one of thirty Historical Women in Dallas to make a difference for 2010.
