She graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Illustration and Design and spent 17 years successfully running her own award-winning photography business in both California and North Carolina after relocating to Wilmington 2005. Lisa began her career in real estate in 2015 by working in general real estate with Intracoastal Realty before joining St. James as a listing agent in 2018. With hundreds of successful transactions, Lisa has become recognized as a top agent each year in St. James Plantation. She received the designation of Real Estate Negotiation Expert Certification in 2020. Lisa is married to St. James Properties Buyers Specialist, David Nieves, and they live in a 1940’s colonial home that they completely remodeled in 2017, in the historic Forest Hills neighborhood of Wilmington. Lisa enjoys decorating, gardening, traveling, and visiting art museums. She is a devoted mother to her daughter, Isabele, a professional ballet dancer who is currently a company member of the US International Ballet in Wilmington. They recently added a new member of the family, a cute Ragdoll kitten named Sugar Cookie.
