About Lissette

Lissette Lent has not only built a successful career in real estate but has also cultivated a presence in the non-profit world that is helping to enrich the lives of families across the globe. With a career in real estate, Lissette has also made a great name for herself. She is a "Top 40 Under 40" alumni awarded by the Southeast Valley Regional Association of Realtors. Lissette prides herself on the love and care she gives to each one of her clients. The biggest compliment she receives are the many referrals her clients, now friends, send her way. Although success was achieved in Lent’s professional career, the challenges of her family life drove her towards an additional focus. After the birth of her fourth child, Maggie Hope, born with Trisomy 8 Mosaicism (a rare genetic disorder), Lissette felt driven to be effective for the millions of children and families living with special needs. She now sits on the Board of Directors and is a committee member for Southwest Human Development (SWHD), and an Ambassador for SWHD and Easter Seal’s “Walk with Me” event. In 2015, Lissette achieved her dream of publishing her first children’s book with the completion of “We’re Not So Different After All”. Through Red Glasses Productions, the company that Lent founded in 2014, Lissette inspires others in her belief that it is the responsibility of parents and community leaders to raise a generation of children that are aware and unafraid of people that look and act differently. Lent visits local elementary schools conducting school assemblies to read her book and encourage children to kindness and compassion by spreading her vision of AWARENESS | ACCEPTANCE | HOPE for special needs children and their families.
