Well, I can tell you there is such a realtor and her names is Liz Squillacote. While being an unparalleled professional (she really knows her stuff) Liz ultimately is focused on getting you in a home that is perfect for you. That may not be easy but Liz will not give up even though the search may take weeks or months! And, more than that, Liz sees her role as being your friend and confidant before and after the sale.

She is a good listener and communicator and follows through in a very busy and challenging market. From the day my wife and I met Liz at an open house we felt very comfortable and relaxed talking to her. We just seemed to click. We told her what our ideas were for a location and style of house we needed and from there she showed us many areas of Connecticut and houses that we might like and sure enough we found the right house in one day.
From the day we made the offer until the closing Liz was there for us every step of the way and then some. I highly recommend Liz to anyone for their real estate needs.

Liz was not my original realtor but was assigned to me in the early stages of my home buying experience. Being as how it was my first time buying a home, my family and I had tons of questions that we honestly thought might be too much at times, but what a treasure Liz has been. Absolutely pleasant, patient, and professional to work with—always taking time to cater to what I needed, even guiding me in the right path when there were times I didn’t know what I needed. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking to buy a house, experienced or not!

Liz was amazing to work with. This was my first time buying a home, which also happened to be in the middle of a pandemic, with an influx of people relocating to CT from out of state, minimal inventory, houses flying off the market in the matter of days (and sometimes within a day!), add on the fact that my dream was to live near the beach (a competitive area of real estate on its own) and you might as well have said I should try again in a year or two (I certainly started to feel that way). However, even up against all that Liz always remained positive and supportive in helping me find my dream home. She encouraged me to keep looking, but was never pushy in trying to get me into something I didn’t love. In fact, if she sensed I didn’t love it she would encourage me to keep looking. I don’t even know the number of houses we saw in a 6 month period, but if I had to guess I’d say upward of 45-50 and I think we were up to 11 or 12 offers, but she was always willing to take me to see more and I have to say it was worth the work (hopefully she feels that way too 😊) because seeing as many homes as we did really helped me to get a sense of what I truly wanted and what concessions I was willing to make. Her putting in all the time and effort she did is what got me into my dream home in a location better than I ever could have imagined. A home in which the concessions were so minimal I couldn’t even tell you what they are. Liz is patient, understanding, and truly cares about making your homeowners dreams come true. I would highly recommend her to anyone who is looking.
