Lori has spent over a decade in sales, but her passion for real estate began earlier—while running her own small business and managing personal investment and renovation projects. With a family background in home renovation, Lori developed a keen eye for design and a talent for helping clients envision the potential in a property. She believes in educating her clients on every aspect of the housing market, from current conditions to design trends, empowering them to make confident decisions.

Before becoming a licensed broker, Lori worked as a full-time broker’s assistant, gaining a deep understanding of the buying and selling process from the ground up. As a founding member of The MacPherson Group, she brings a wealth of experience and in-depth knowledge of the North Shore real estate market. Her clients appreciate her integrity, patience, and enthusiasm—qualities that make the process both effective and enjoyable.

Lori’s background as a small business owner and marketing specialist has equipped her with strong organizational, communication, and negotiation skills. She has worked with high-profile clients, managing marketing and media budgets with precision—skills that now serve her well in real estate.

Since relocating from Ohio to Chicago in 2009, Lori has lived in several North Shore communities including Evanston, Skokie, and now Glenview. Her personal experience with cross-state relocation gives her a unique ability to empathize with clients navigating big moves. She understands the challenges of researching schools, exploring neighborhoods, and settling into a new community—and she’s passionate about making that transition seamless for others.
