About Lori

When Lori Powers moved to Maui in 1987, it was love at first sight. For as long as she can remember, she has always felt most at home near the ocean, so the island ticked all the right boxes—and it still does more than three decades later.

Today, Lori enjoys every opportunity to help others make Maui their home. With more than twenty years of experience, she knows the real estate industry inside and out and has earned a well-deserved reputation among her colleagues for honesty, loyalty, and integrity.

As a former educator and co-founder and director of the Carden Academy of Maui, Lori has the qualities of a great teacher: She is organized, detail-oriented, creative, a skilled communicator, and can effectively juggle multiple tasks. In addition to a proven history of connecting great people to great properties, Lori has a knack for making the buying or selling process easy and fun. What’s her secret? She listens carefully to her clients to figure out their needs and uses her local knowledge and well-honed skills to help them sell a home or find their perfect property match. More than anything else, Lori prioritizes building relationships and delivering personalized service, which is why many of her past clients are now her friends.

Lori is the proud mother of five daughters and has eleven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. She is an active member of the Lahaina Yacht Club and currently serves on its membership committee and the Boomvangers Scholarship committee, which awards annual scholarships to local college-bound students.

When she’s not working with a buyer or seller, you might see Lori out on the water, zipping down Front Street on her pink bicycle, or at the beach with her four-legged assistant (and unofficial mayor of Lahaina Town), a Golden Retriever named Coach.
