Lori Ratliff

Born in the Province of Vicenza, Italy, Lori grew up in Gambellara, a small town landscaped with vineyards and famous for producing excellent wines. She enjoyed bicycling and singing in the church choir, and later worked as a wine technician for several years. When Lori met and fell in love with a U.S. Air Force staff sergeant stationed in Italy, the couple relocated to his native California shortly after they wed in 1977. While raising their two children, Lori worked various jobs in sales and customer service to supplement the family's income. By 2002, Lori recognized how much fulfillment it gave her to help others and realized that real estate would give her the perfect opportunity to do just that.

Lori is especially fond of the relational aspect of being a Realtor. She has a remarkable ability to really hear, understand, and care about the needs of her clients, and to skillfully guide them through the stress of purchasing or selling property. She also derives great joy in working through the details of problems and challenges to ultimately arrive at a successful conclusion. Add to that Lori's reputation for honesty and integrity, and you'll understand why her clients give her the highest praise!

With a passion for little ones, Lori is a loyal supporter of St. Jude Children's Hospital and Feed the Children and has worked with Escondido's Interfaith Community Service. Family is very important to Lori and her husband of 40 years. Their two grown children live locally and both work for the City of Escondido: their daughter at City Hall, and their son as a firefighter. This means lots of time with her kids and five grandchildren. In her spare time, Lori enjoys hiking and off-roading on desert terrains. And it should come as no surprise that Lori's favorite vacation destination is the sun-drenched countryside of Northern Italy to visit family.

Lori says, "As real estate professionals an essential part of our job is accurately understanding and representing all members of our community. In doing so, we can better anticipate the needs of our customers and work to provide a positive real estate experience.
