After graduating from Loyola University, Lori quickly became a powerhouse agent in her hometown of Houston, Texas. There she practiced both residential and commercial representation, specializing in site evaluation for companies like Starbucks, PetSmart, and The Gap while spending nearly a decade among the Top 1% of Realtors® in this hyper-competitive market. Subsequently, Lori turned her expertise toward building a business along with her engineer husband, Duncan. The result, Pondhop Automation, was a multi-million-dollar industrial automation firm where Lori honed her skills in negotiation, financial analysis, and personnel management as director of operations with oversight of dozens of employees. Having relocated to Bainbridge Island after the sale of their company in 2019, Lori now applies her experience in real estate and entrepreneurship to helping buyers and sellers in this idyllic community. Clients experience the best of Lori’s skill and sensitivity as she focuses on the transaction and on the people she serves. She understands both the emotional and practical complexity of relocating and provides service designed to take each into account. Lori joined Realogics Sotheby’s International Realty to expand her network even further and provide her clients with top-tier marketing and reach. Collaboration and community involvement are incredibly important to Lori, and she serves as President of Kitsap County Association of Realtors. She is also chairs Washington Realtor’s Communications Committee and serves as a member of the Washington Realtors Finance Committee and Professional Standards Committee. A graduate of Washington Realtor's 2023 Leadership Academy program. She is an Accredited Buyer’s Representative (ABR) and was one of the very first designated Certified International Property Specialists (CIPS) in the country. Lori resides on Bainbridge Island with her family, their Goldendoodle, Coco, and an array of chickens. They are members of the Poulsbo Yacht Club and the Bainbridge BARN and love exploring the area’s beauty and wildlife via RV or by hiking the island’s picturesque trails.
