In 2004 Lorna Chen celebrated her 25th anniversary as a real estate broker. During the past two decades she has enjoyed a truly celebrated career garnering numerous awards and accolades.
In early 2005, Lorna was awarded Platinum Level status in the NJ Association of Realtors Circle of Excellence for having completed over $25 million in 2004 real estate sales. This is one of the most prestigious awards given by the statewide Realtor Association. Only the state’s top producing agents have been able to earn Gold Level status; as a veteran agent Lorna is a repeat member.
Lorna’s background includes development and marketing positions for both boutique and regional brokerage houses.
Before entering the real estate industry, Lorna worked extensively in the computer field. After being recruited by Shell Oil to manage their information systems department, she went on to manage the database administration departments for both Columbia Presbyterian Hospital and New York Hospital.
She has been a speaker on numerous occasions as part of the Eastern Bergen County’s Cultural Diversity Program. Lorna gives a thoroughly informative and entertaining speech on the Chinese culture and its impact on real estate. By popular demand she repeated her program at the 1998 NJ Association of Realtors annual convention in Atlantic City. Lorna is fluent in three Chinese language dialects.
In addition to her vast Asian clientele, Lorna’s sphere of influence includes an array of ethnic groups making her a true international power broker. She has recently closed numerous condominium and townhouse sales in the Fort Lee vicinity as well as house sales in Englewood Cliffs, Leonia, Fairlawn, Demarest, Palisades Park, Ridgefield, Lyndhurst and of course, Fort Lee, her home base.
As a current and past resident and board member of many of the area’s hi-rise apartment buildings, Lorna’s expertise and knowledge of this special market has brought her tremendous success. Her intimate experience with condominium and townhouse communities is legendary.
Lorna has also become a specialist in finding homes throughout Bergen County for many former hi-rise residents. Her dedication and personalized service to her clients is unsurpassed in the industry.
