I have been renting from Chatel for over 5 years and have had a great experience with them! The original application/move-in process was seamless and my lease renewals have been stress free. In the rare cases that I have needed maintenance, Jimmy, Gio, and the maintenance team have been so wonderful - they are responsive, quick to turn things around, and flexible with my schedule. Not to mention that Lou, Craig and the rest of the Chatel team are also a pleasure to work with! Highly recommend!!

Working with Lou made my first time home buying process incredibly easy. He was professional, responsive, and selective when suggesting houses and condos for us to view- actually listening to what we wanted and could afford. He walked us through the timing and steps of what to expect, so we were prepared and ready to make an offer when we needed to. He was everything you would want from a real estate professional. But what really sets Lou apart is his expertise and knowledge of the DC area. He has lived and worked in DC for years and knows the city inside and out, and that insight and experience was invaluable.

My wife and I worked with Lou in 2021 to buy our fist home and couldn’t have had a better experience. He was incredibly helpful from the state, assisting us in identifying factors we did/didn’t want through our search for our future home. He used our future goals for the property as the main focus of the searches. He was quick to respond, even after hours (within reason). He would always give us an honest take on a property rather than trying to close the deal. He was great at keeping us on task and assisted through every step that was required. The process of buying a home through Chantel with Lou was fantastic and I would recommend to any friend or family member.
