In looking for a realtor to assist me and my family, I found it to be quite difficult. Especially one that would take the time to inquire as to what we were interested in. I had posted on the Re-Max website my interest. I was fortunate enough to have Lydia Franz contact me. She was very helpful and conscious as to what our needs were. In response, we met the very next day in which she had several locations ready for us to view. She worked with us diligently on what could have been a difficult process in purchasing a home that was a short sale. It took some time but she never ceased to continue to work things out. She also helped us find a place to live while the closing was being negotiated. She even took my three dogs into her home to stay while we waited for the process to end. She went above and beyond what was expected. Not only did she help us purchase a home, she helped me purchase a condo as well. In the closing of my home, she conceded to a lower percentage of the income she would make on the sale just so it could happen. I really don't know too many people who would do that! Because of her exceptional help, she has assisted several of our friends as well. There are none better than Lydia and if anyone is in the market looking to sell or buy, I highly recommend her. -- maryann4983

Lydia looked at several houses that in which I had an interest and when the one I actually purchased was available, there was no time for me to inspect the home before closing. The day of closing I inspected the house fully with a contractor, the property was exactly as described by her, and we closed that day. Since that time, I have referred a few of leads to her that have also resulted in sales satisfactory to the purchasers. To me that should say it all. Put Lydia on the deal, you will not be disappointed. -- Tommy

I would recommend Lydia Franz to anyone that I know because she went above and beyond her job for myself and my husband when it came to buying our new home. Lydia is an expert in analyzing the direction of the real estate markets for Orange Beach and Gulf Shores. Being an out-of-state investor makes it difficult to be there when something comes up, but Lydia works with a team of local professionals to get the job done when time is an issue. Lydia is without a doubt the best agent we have ever worked with. We found her by asking around for names and recommendations from local folks we had met. She was referred to us by at least 3 people. She helped us with negotiations with the builder, kept in touch with us throughout the process and sat with us at closing, after she had been through all the signing paperwork. She returns phone calls promptly and answers even the most complex questions quickly and thoroughly. You cannot go wrong using Lydia to buy or sell in the Gulf Shores, Foley, Orange Beach area.
