We were lucky to be referred to Lydia , who I am sure is not only one of the best RE/MAX agents, but one of the best real estate agents around. Lydia was looking for home for our dad and we found ourselves in a real bind as we were expecting twins and needed a home fast. Lydia not only found us a home, but made us feel comfortable throughout the process, took initiative to make the sale happen, got us a one year warranty and a settlement attorney who was an expert on short sales, and rendered good and practical advice at many turns. It took almost a year to close and Lydia kept our hopes up and never lost faith and gently cajoled us to do what we had to do in order to have a seamless transaction. She is fun to work with and really helped us at a time when we really needed her.. and she is someone who you can really trust to really put your interests above her own. We were impressed with her knowledge of the local real estate market and her construction acumen, as she often pointed out things the average homebuyer would miss or be unaware of. Lydia has a wealth of knowledge that she readily shares, ensures you’re fully educated in all aspects of the home buying process, and is extremely responsive and attentive. Equally important, she has a great network of referrals for any service you need, from lending to home inspection and beyond, all of which were positive experiences for us. After providing Lydia a list of our must-haves and going on a few home tours, she quickly picked up on our style and priorities. During a day of showings, Lydia suggested we see a house we had previously looked at online, but passed on for various reasons. Trusting his professional opinion, we viewed the home and to our surprise, loved it. Lydia expertly guided us through three rounds of negotiations before we finally had a ratified contract, for $25k less than the listing price and within our budget! It was a relief to know we were in good hands for the home stretch as Lydia managed the home inspection and subsequent negotiations, the finalization of our mortgage, and settlement. Lydia Zache helped me to locate my future home on 4613 Macarthur Blvd unit A Washington DC 20007 She Really listened to me and was able to pair me with a property which has a rare reservoir waterfront view within blocks of Georgetown that gives me the Georgetown experience but is approximately 100k less then living in Georgetown proper. She introduced me to great home inspector Dave Gullick who reviewed my property in great detail and I met her lender Stone Burdette who saved me 5k on my financing.... I am a first time buyer and Lydia helped me through some of my buyers remorse and even though we sometimes didn't agree she guided me in the right direction and I eventually saw her point of view and I strongly recommend her as an agent to anyone purchasing a home in the Georgetown area she knows her stuff and her network of experts is unbeatable. At our first meeting Lydia gave a very informative but concise overview of what to expect from the process and I was instantly comfortable with what I was getting into. Her demeanor is a great combination of being fully professional without being overly formal - so I found her fully approachable and easy to speak with, even with possible dumb questions. We did put the house on the market for sale, unfortunately the bottom fell out in 2009, and she encouraged me to rent until the market recovered. She represents me each time myself or my extensive family in Virginia needs to buy or sell property. Without her knowledge and professionalism I would never be able to keep my house! Lydia Zache represented me as buyer agent for my home purchase at 10044 Naughton Court, Bristow, VA in December of 2000. She was efficient, diligent, patient, extremely knowledgeable and responsive to our requirements. Our search went on for over a month but never once did she seem exasperated with us, she continued to turn over new gems in the area by introducing us to the rapidly developing area of Bristow.
