About Mackayla

Mackayla Taken is a native of the Midwest region. She grew up in North Branch, MN, but spent her summers with her father on the ranch in Wall, SD. Her mother moved them to Rapid City in 2010. After graduating from Central High School, she attended UNL-Nebraska Lincoln for a year and became a diehard Huskers fan.

After her short-lived college career, she moved back to Rapid City to start a family with her husband. They bought their first home in 2016 and now have two kiddos and one fur baby. Once life slowed down a little, she decided she was ready for a new challenge. She received her real estate salesperson license in January of 2018 and joined her brother-in-law at Dupont Real Estate soon after.

She is truly invested in the people of Rapid City. If you are in the market, you can count on a friendly face and a motivated gal to help you in Taken it all the way home!
