About Maggie
Maggie has worked at Burns & Ellis for her entire real estate career. In 2025, she joined Tom and Terry Burns as a co-owner of Burns & Ellis REALTORS.
Maggie has been consistently ranked in the TOP 5% of all Kent County agents in sales production in the last 10 years. With an extensive network around the county and beyond, she is the ideal choice to find the most qualified buyer for your home.
Born and raised right here in Dover, Maggie attended Dover High School and graduated from Duke University in 2009. After moving back to the hometown she knows and loves, Maggie became a Realtor to connect longtime residents, as well as newcomers, with everything the area has to offer. In addition to real estate, Maggie enjoys playing golf, traveling, and being active in the community. Whether it’s the country land west of town, the new developments spreading around Kent County, or the beautiful downtown homes of Olde Dover, Maggie will handle the purchase, sale, or lease of your home with the professionalism of a lifetime local expert.
A fierce advocate for the housing industry, Maggie served as the 2019 President for the Kent County Association of Realtors and currently serves as the chair of the Delaware Association of REALTORS Public Policy Committee, frequently testifying at the General Assembly on matters related to proprety rights and home ownership. She is also a member of the National Association of Realtors Presidents Circle.
In March of 2017, Maggie was selected by the National Association of Realtors to be in the 2017 Class of “30 Under 30,” and was featured in REALTOR Magazine in May of that year. She is the first agent from Delaware since 1999 to receive this national honor. She was also the 2015 Kent County Realtor of the Year.
