In real estate, we are often on the hunt, in search of the most suitable home or that ideal buyer. But a SUCCESSFUL hunt requires a a few key silliest, including a broad range of relationships, marketing insights, clear communication, and a good handle on numbers.
Let's assume that my years as a bond trader/portfolio manager have equipped me well with the analytics. What might not be so apparent, but equally important, is how my years outside of work...the mothering, traveling, writing, networking, volunteering, dancing, rowing, acting, reading, creating, plotting, and planning...have covered much of the rest.
