Marcel Ford

Marcel Ford was raised in Newport Beach and attended Corona del Mar Elementary, Lincoln Middle School and Corona Del Mar High School. He is a graduate of the University of Southern California Business School’s Entrepreneur Program. Marcel lives in Corona Del Mar with his wife Diane and their two children.

Marcel earned his California real estate license in 1992 and immediately put it to good use by purchasing several bank owned properties for resale and investment. In 1993 he created a product called ‘Simply Silk’ a silk plant cleaner for the retail market. Within 18 months he employed over a hundred and twenty demonstrators and sixteen regional managers to oversee sales of the product in 128 Price Club locations. Not content to rest on his laurels, Marcel continued to expand his product line into several other categories and retailers. His company - The Webster Group boasted over eighty five products that could be found in over 7,000 national retailers.

In 2002 with a 150,000 square foot distribution facility and over 100 employees manufacturing product 24/7 he decided it was the opportune time to sell the company.

In 2002 Marcel began buying, rehabbing and reselling houses again. By applying his passion for marketing, within a few short years he was one the largest home buyers in the counties of Orange, Riverside and San Bernardino - buying and reselling hundreds of homes.
