Marcelo’s journey began in Recife, Brazil, where he earned his Civil Engineering degree before moving to Athens, Georgia, to study English at the University of Georgia’s American Language Program. Originally planning to return to Brazil for a civil engineering career, Marcelo found himself captivated by Athens’ unique charm—where small-town warmth meets the vibrancy of a university town, with its welcoming people, amazing restaurants, and a thriving music scene.
After nearly two decades in the corporate world, Marcelo felt the pull toward a more personal and meaningful path. Inspired by encouragement from friends and the support of his family, he discovered a genuine passion for real estate and the opportunity to help others through major life transitions. Earning his real estate license, he embraced a career where relationships, trust, and service come first.
As a Realtor, Marcelo brings a fresh perspective shaped by his diverse background. He believes that buying or selling a home should be a positive, stress-free experience. He puts all his knowledge, expertise, and industry tools at his clients’ disposal to facilitate the journey and to reassure them that his goal is to provide the best service and experience possible.
